Hold tight, because for the first time in Wheels of Thrill history we are venturing well beyond the European continent... From 08 to 14 September, Wheels of Thrill is running the RALLYE DU MAROC, an extraordinary driving event that is planned as a relaxed fully-organised luxury getaway, combined with various excursions and exclusive 'money can't buy' experiences. With visits to Rabat, Casablanca, and Marrakech, this 7-day event will take us deep into Morocco's territory to soak in the rich culture and tradition of this mesmerizing destination. We even take it one step further as we start conquering the beautiful Atlas mountains, with peaks reaching well over 4,000 meters, to reach the traditional Berber city of Ouarzazate. Here we will visit the iconic fortified village (ksar) of Aït-Ben-Haddou, which is without doubt the most pittoresk village of Morrocco and a popular filming location for various movies and TV shows, including 'The Gladiator' and 'Game of Thrones'. Other highlights include the Tizi-n-Tichka mountain pass, an exclusive high tea session at the Royal Mansour palace, the famous Djemaa El Fna market, and two surprise dinners. Be prepared for an experience you have never witnessed before... Your adventure of a lifetime awaits!
During this awe-inspiring journey through Morocco we will only stay at the very best 5-star hotels, including the Four Seasons in Casablanca, the Es Saadi Palace in Marrakech, the Le Berbère Palace in Ouarzazate, and the Fairmont Tazi Palace in Tangiers. In addition, during our entire stay in Morocco, we will be privately guided by Hamza Benjelloun, brand director of Aston Martin Casablanca. His expertise and skills were previously awarded with the 'International Host Award' and allow us to run this exclusive event safely and seamlessly. And despite an earlier private sportscar event in Morrocco last year, Wheels of Thrill will fly into Morocco again this year to once more verify all rally locations and inspect the proposed rally route. Together with having Hamza as local guide, who will be alongside us 24/7 as part of the WOT crew, there simply is no safer and more comfortable way of experiencing Morocco by car!
The starting point of this extraordinary event is in Tarifa, the southernmost point of Spain, where we will gather on Sunday 8th September in the late afternoon. From here we will embark on our journey to Morocco on Monday 9th September in the morning, when we will take the ferry to cross the Strait of Gibraltar towards Tangiers. After a captivating 5-day journey with breathtaking landscapes and cultural experiences across Morocco, we will return in Tangiers on Friday 13th September in the late afternoon. After finishing the event and staying the night at the Fairmont Tazi Palace, we will embark on our ferry back to Europe on Saturday 14th September in the early morning.

Although its name might suggests otherwise, this event will be a pleasant drive where conviviality and exclusivity are prized. Please note that we allow a maximum of 20 teams and solely exclusive sports cars can participate. The decision of Wheels of Thrill is binding! Available slots will be assigned based on the 'first come, first serve' principle, although former participants get priority.
